TextAnywhere Service Alert: 04/06/2021 14:57 – Issue for TextPremium clients with shared and dedicated Short Codes

This is to notify you of a service issue, which may impact your use of our services, as follows:

Status: New
Description: Please be advised that we are not currently receiving messages to a range of our TextPremium shared and dedicated short code numbers. The issue began at 14:03 BST.

Messages destined for your short code services are temporarily not being sent to us, due to an issue with our network operator partner. Our partner is working on the issue and expects to resolve this issue shortly.

Any messages sent by handsets to your services will be queued by the network operators and delivered to you on resolution of the issue.

We do apologise for any inconvenience that this issue may cause you.

We will provide an update when we receive more information.

Description: Please note that we experienced an issue with our Domain Name System (DNS) provider earlier today which may have affected the ability to connect to our services.

Incident end time: 12/03/2021 00:40

The issue has since been fully resolved by our DNS provider and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Description: We can confirm that DataCash have advised us that the issue is now resolved, and that payments are being processed. Testing confirms that this is the case.

A RCA has been requested from DataCash and will be investigated to ensure a similar isue does not occur again.

We are experiencing technical difficulties with our payment provider, DataCash, for taking online payments.
We are working with DataCash currently to establish what has gone wrong, and to find a solution as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated.
