TextAnywhere Service Alert: 04/10/2016 13:04 – Customer Service Telephone issue

This is to notify you of a service issue, which may impact your use of our services, as follows:

Status: Update
Description: Although we have not received official confirmation from our service provider of resolution we are now receiving incoming calls to our customer service centre.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and we will continue to provide updates until the issue is confirmed as resolved.

Please be aware that us that BT are currently experiencing a major fault that is affecting all incoming to calls to our customer service centre.

Our service providers are working with BT to resolve the issue/re-route affected call traffic. In the interim please use the contact page of our website for the appropriate contact email or contact us by live web chat.

Please note this issue is NOT affecting any of our SMS-related services.

We will provide updates as and when we receive them and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

TextAnywhere Service Alert: 03/10/2016 17:56 – Issue for TextPremium clients with shared and dedicated Short Codes

This is to notify you of a service issue, which may impact your use of our services, as follows:

Status: Resolved
Description: Our network partner has confirmed that the issue has now been resolved and we can confirm there were no further outages since yesterday evening.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

We can confirm that inbound messages are now being received and that the backlog of messages queued by our network partner have been successfully processed. However we will continue to monitor.

Our network partner is continuing to investigate the ongoing issue with the highest priority.

Please be advised that we are not currently receiving messages to our TextPremium shared and dedicated short code numbers. The issue began at 17:25 BST.

Messages destined for your short code services are temporarily not being sent to us, due to an issue with our network operator partner. Our partner is working on the issue and expects to resolve this issue shortly.

Any messages sent by handsets to your services will be queued by the network operators, and delivered to you on resolution of the issue. Any outbound premium messages destined for handsets will be queued by us and processed by our partner on resolution of the issue.

We do apologise for any inconvenience that this issue may cause you.

We will provide an update when we receive more information.
